Not very many people would answer a Fireman but if you look at the big picture take all the Cops in Canada and and how many of them have had a gun pointed at them or have been shot at in a year and the numbers are very low overall and some officers have never had to use and or pull their gun in their entire time on the job. Fireman on the other hand constantly are in the line of fire so to speak. They get a call to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) and get there and there is a car on fire they pull the hose and run over to put it out. There could be a gas line leak they can't see and the gas tank explodes and could burn or kill the fireman and has. They get a call to your house on fire, They face when they get there Back drafts, Flash-overs and small explosions from paint cans or other stuff you have stored in your house. They have never been in your house and don't know the layout and were the furniture is. A lot of people nowadays have battery back ups for power outages which means even if the power had been shut of to the building the power cords and extension cords are still live and may have their plastic melted of and in a search of your house with zero visibility they could run into or touch an exposed wire with a water hose in their other hand. If none of that is enough they run the risk of having a collapse of part or all of the building on top of them or be trapped inside and may have their source of water cut off. There are more Fireman hurt daily on the job in Canada than Police officers in a week and a lot of these people are volunteers who aren't paid. Fires are a very small part of being a fireman there's search & rescue, From mountain tops to lake shore there always there when you need them.

Where is the place you go to get away from it all?

FISHING

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

Strange Math

Three guy's go to a Hotel and ask for a room. The clerk tells them it's $30.00 so they each give him $10.00 and go to their room. A short time goes by and the clerk notices he made an error the room charge was only $25.00 so he gives the bellboy $5.00 to return to the three guy's. The bellboy can't figure out how to split the 5 between the 3 guy's so he gives each guy $1.00 and pockets $2.00. So now each guy has paid $9.00 times the three guy's is $27.00 plus the $2.00 the bellboy kept what happened to the other $1.00

START SCRATCHING HEAD NOW Have a happy day.

If you take away your race, religion, family, education and job - who are you?

Is that when you ripped your panties. lol I was paying attention

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

If it were proven that life existed on Mars, would you like to live there?

To many martians

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

Do you know a thief

You go to work everyday save a little money to treat yourself or maybe a child to a new toy, bike, golf clubs or a garden gnome. Maybe a single mother working for min. wage plus tips can finally afford that used car and some jackass comes and smashes the window to steal some change in the dash. Now she's got a choice to get insurance to pay and have her rates go up or park the car till she can afford to fix it herself and still pay insurance while it's parked. It doesn't really matter what their stealing or from whom, they steal from a company the company just tacks the loss on the price of their goods to cover it. We all end up paying and these scumsuckers get away with it. If they get caught so what probation, 30 days in jail works out to maybe a week with good behaviour. Their laughing at us suckers for supplying their drug, alcohol money. I say it's time to say screw you and let's start marking them like pedophiles. Put their picture up on light poles, in store windows, all over the neighborhood, Let them know they can't leave the house without being watched. We should be able to buy something without the worry it will be ripped off. If you know a thief turn him/her in and make your neighbourhood a better place and you a better person.

What's your favorite dessert?

As a Chef I can tell you that's an impossible question to answer.
